Recently been looking around for testing tools and found an online service for testing iOS apps.  TestFlight is an over the air beta testing service free for iOS devices.  Check out TestFlight website for more info.

Testing made simple

Some of the services it offers is over-the-air painless app distribution across all iOS devices.  This allows beta testing to potential clients as simple as tapping on smartphone.

Customer feedback is a critical piece to any client engagement, and TestFlight incorporates this from day one.  Potential end customers and deploy, test drive the app, and provide critical comments on a number aspects such as usability, responsiveness and page flow.  All comments are directly fed back to dev team.  Sure beats having the old fashion support team middle-man to relay messages and problems to developers.

In-app checkpoints allow engagement between end user and the app.  There is even in-app questionnaire to gain further insight into how the app is working.  Great for understanding usability of the app.

Build teams is a feature that allows you to be creative to determine who and what needs to be testing.  If you just want to test a single feature, then create a team that allows only the developer and tester.  Great for ad-hoc testing.

Reports are also available for identify who, what and when testing was done.

The SDK is also cool, allows for remote NSLog notification, similar to just console output but sent remotely to the team.

Overall, this definitely fills a void for testing mobile apps on iOS.
